Dive Against Debris
Local action makes a global impact!
Make every dive count by always diving against debris! With the Dive Against Debris Specialty Course, you will learn how documentation plays a major role in cleaning up our oceans. Conduct a survey for your dives and discover the impact you can make on every single dive.
PADI Dive Against Debris
During the Dive Against Debris Specialty Course, you will conduct a Dive Against Debris survey. This survey includes weighing, sorting, recording, disposing and reporting your marine debris to PADI Project AWARE. Every dive can be a dive against debris and with this specialty, you will learn how to contribute to the global initiative for cleaning up our oceans.
Discover how removing plastics and debris not only keeps the dive sites healthier but also how documenting the cleanups with divers from all over the world helps track and trace our progress. With a global database, we can help the international effort to clean up the oceans and keep them debris free.
