PADI Master Scuba Diver
For recreational scuba divers worldwide, having a PADI Master Scuba Diver rating means you are part of the very small group of elites at the very top. Master Scuba Divers earn this rating by having extensive time and training in the water. You can even circumnavigate the Scuba Review or Refresher programs if it’s been a while between dives. (Check local regulations)
The Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest level of diver certification without being a dive professional. Many divers that prefer to live the diver lifestyle, while not making it their career, choose to become a Master Scuba Diver.
The PADI Master Scuba Diver rating is not a course in itself, but a set of requirements that need to be met before you can apply.

- A certificate signed by PADI President and CEO
- Master Scuba Diver badge
- PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 PADI Specialties
- Minimum 50 logged dives
- Must be 12 years old
