DSAT Tech 40
The Tech 40 course is the first installment of the Tech Deep course and lays the foundation for your technical diving career as you transition from recreational to technical diving. In this course, you will train to dive further, deeper and longer. Introduction begins with primary safety skills and drills in confined sessions followed by 4 open water dives, 3 intermediate depth dives and 1 decompression dive on a local shipwreck.
DSAT Tech 40
The Tech 40 course (part one of Tech Deep) is designed to transition recreational divers into the technical side of scuba diving. Begin by learning about the risks and responsibilities of a technical diver, technical diving equipment, gas planning and decompression, team diving techniques and emergency procedures.
This course is an Advanced Nitrox course and qualifies you to make a single gas switch at depth. These skills allow for extended no-stop dives and decompression dives with a limit of 10 minutes maximum decompression while using Nitrox 50%.
Training is available in backmount or sidemount configuration, depending on preference or application with 2 gases and 3 tanks.
