The Tech 45 course is the second part to Tech Deep and continues to build upon training from Tech 40. In this course, you will extend your range to 45 meters, while accelerating decompression by using up to 100 % pure Oxygen on a 3rd cylinder. These techniques ensure and enhance the safety of an air decompression dive.
DSAT Tech 45
Tech 45 is part two of the Tech Deep course and extends your range to a maximum depth of 45 meters while introducing a third tank of deco gas.
Building upon the education from Tech 40, this course will introduce extra safety procedures. You will learn how to handle potential emergencies specific to technical diving. Examples include out of gas drills, regulator failure and protocol for a diver becoming unconscious. Drills involve handling emergencies during decompression stops as you cannot ascend to the surface in an emergency.
You will continue to fine tune gas planning and projection, equipment maintenance and calculation of accelerated decompression stops.
Training for Tech 45 is available in backmount or sidemount configuration depending on preference or application.
