Davy Jones’ Locker Diving is a PADI 5 Stars Instructor Development Centre (#36338) located on the beautiful tropical island of Koh Tao in southern Thailand.

Established in 1996, DJL Diving is a western-owned dive shop offering both recreational and technical diving courses and training. We are enthusiastic about all things aquatic and devoted to protecting our marine life and environments. The DJL crew is professional, passionate, well trained and ready to take your diving to the next level.

Our Dive Team is handpicked, consists of diverse backgrounds and knowledge, some with over 30 years of teaching experience, allowing us to offer a wide range of diving courses and training. This includes both recreational and technical diving courses, divemaster internships, instructor development, wreck and cave diving, compressor and boat maintenance, first aid and CPR, expedition planning and more.

Many of our courses have eLearning options available for our students that want to get started on theory before arriving to Koh Tao. This can be done with Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water, Nitrox Enriched Air, several PADI Specialty courses and even the Instructor Development and Divemaster courses. We are able to provide eLearning in 20 different languages and currently, we can teach courses in multiple languages.

DJL Diving is not the largest dive shop on Koh Tao, however, we are well known and consistently busy. We pride ourselves on providing a great diving experience that is more personal and tailored to your needs, no matter your certification level. On our dive boat, we train our divers to be safe, competent and how to utilize proper technique.

Additionally to the recreational dive courses offered here at DJL, we have a strong focus geared towards technical deep diving and shipwreck exploration. We are dedicated to running expeditions seeking out undiscovered shipwrecks, isolated pinnacles and coral reefs throughout Thailand.
