Beginner to Instructor Internships

Zero to Superhero Beginner to PADI Diving Instructor packages on Koh Tao Thailand

These are Internship packages for those people who have no previous diving qualifications when they come to start their Instructor Internship.

All of these packages come with the full Divemaster Internship which includes all of the courses through to Divemaster, including materials as well as an equipment package which is yours to keep.

Instructor Bronze Internship package – Open Water (OW) through to PADI Instructor (OWSI)

Once you have completed the Divemaster section of the Internship you will then complete our 14 days Instructor Development Course (IDC) here on Koh Tao followed by the 2 days Instructor Exam(IE).

This package Includes:

  • 12 weeks of accommodation (if required)
  • Divemaster Internship package from Open Water – Divemaster
  • Equipment package to keep
  • IDC course
  • IDC Crewpak materials & EFRI manual

Then you will need to pay PADI directly for your Instructor exam, Instructor cards and Instructor membership fee.

Instructor Silver Internship package – Open Water (OW) through to PADI Instructor (OWSI) & MSDT Prep course

Once you have completed the Divemaster section of the Internship you will then complete our 14 days Instructor Development Course (IDC) here on Koh Tao followed by the 2 days Instructor Exam(IE). Then you will complete a 2-4 day MSDT Prep course where you will be taught the 5 Instructor Specialties of your choice.

This package Includes:

  • IDC course
  • IDC Crewpak materials & EFRI manual
  • 5 PADI Instructor Specialty courses

Then you will need to pay PADI directly for your Instructor exam, Instructor cards and Instructor membership fee and once you have taught your first 25 certifications you will also need to pay PADI for your Instructor Specialty ratings.

Instructor Gold Internship package – Open Water (OW) through to PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)

Once you have completed the Divemaster section of the Internship you will then complete our 14 days Instructor Development Course (IDC) here on Koh Tao followed by the 2 days Instructor Exam(IE). Then you will complete a 2-4 day MSDT Prep course where you will be taught the 5 Instructor Specialties of your choice. This is then followed by your MSDT Internship where you will teach your first 25 diving certifications (or more if you wish) under the supervision of one of our Instructors to give you the chance to pick up some valuable experience and perfect your teaching skills.

This package Includes:

  • 13 weeks of accommodation (if required)
  • Divemaster Internship package from Open Water – Divemaster
  • Equipment package to keep
  • IDC course
  • IDC Crewpak materials & EFRI manual
  • 5 PADI Instructor Specialty courses
  • MSDT Internship where you will teach your first 25 PADI certifications

Then you will need to pay PADI directly for your Instructor exam, Instructor cards and Instructor membership fee and once you have taught your first 25 certifications you will also need to pay PADI for your Instructor Specialty ratings and MSDT rating.

Instructor Platinum Internship package – Open Water (OW) through to PADI Staff Instructor

Once you have completed the Divemaster section of the Internship you will then complete our 14 days Instructor Development Course (IDC) here on Koh Tao followed by the 2 days Instructor Exam(IE). Then you will complete a 2-4 day MSDT Prep course where you will be taught the 5 Instructor Specialties of your choice. This is then followed by your MSDT Internship where you will teach your first 25 diving certifications (or more if you wish) under the supervision of one of our Instructors to give you the chance to pick up some valuable experience and perfect your teaching skills. Then you will assist our Course Directors to run an additional IDC to achieve the Staff Instructor rating.

  • 17 weeks of accommodation (if required)
  • Divemaster Internship package from Open Water – Divemaster
  • Equipment package to keep
  • IDC course
  • IDC Crewpak materials & EFRI manual
  • 5 PADI Instructor Specialty courses
  • MSDT Internship where you will teach your first 25 PADI certifications
  • Staff Instructor rating
  • Course Director manual

Then you will need to pay PADI directly for your Instructor exam, Instructor cards and Instructor membership fee and once you have taught your first 25 certifications you will also need to pay PADI for your Instructor Specialty ratings and MSDT rating. Then you will also have to pay PADI directly for your Staff Instructor rating.

The PADI fees are adjusted on a yearly basis each January and so please confirm fees are current with PADI Asia Pacific.
